Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Clerk for our client in Freeport, Florida. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be an integral part of the team, primarily focusing on account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry. You will also use your skills in invoice processing and Microsoft Excel to help maintain the financial records. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately reconcile accounts to ensure all financial data is up to date
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring all financial data is accurate and payments are made on time
- Oversee accounts receivable, making sure all invoices are sent out and payments are received promptly
- Handle billing tasks, creating and sending out invoices to clients
- Perform data entry tasks, inputting financial data into our system accurately and efficiently
- Process invoices, checking for accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
- Use Microsoft Excel to maintain financial records, creating spreadsheets and reports to track financial data
- Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary
- Resolve customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with Billing procedures
- Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Experience with Invoice Processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Relevant work experience in an accounting role is desirable
