We are in the process of expanding our team and are currently seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor. This role is based in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, and operates within the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, leading the monthly close, and managing the accounting staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those with a strong understanding of accounting software systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions.Responsibilities:• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner.• Ensure the accurate recording of bonus and commissions accruals in partnership with FP& A.• Lead the monthly close process and provide status updates to the Controller.• Review work performed by interns, such as posting bills and expense transactions to the G/L.• Conduct departmental-level P& L trend analyses to identify accruals and maintain consistency in categorizing expenses.• Administer the sales tax reporting system and confirm transactions to approve monthly filings.• Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with policies surrounding employee expense reporting and allocation of benefits expenses.• Assist in establishing, implementing, documenting, and monitoring internal control procedures and accounting policies.• Manage state business license compliance in partnership with Capital Services Corporation.• Oversee the accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.• Recruit and permanently place accounting and financial staff and conduct performance evaluations.• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and consolidate financial information.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to complete value-add projects aimed at improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
