Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and oversee accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Coordinate audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Assign responsibilities, evaluate performance, and provide continual learning opportunities.
- Account Reconciliation and Oversight:
- Review and approve reconciliations of accounts, including general ledger, bank accounts, and subsidiary ledgers.
- Maintain oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting procedures through automation, ERP systems, or best practices.
- Lead or participate in system implementation and integrations to improve efficiencies and accuracy.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial modeling as required by leadership.
- Monitor budget versus actual performance and recommend necessary adjustments.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- CPA designation required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree a plus).
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including managerial experience overseeing teams.
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications and Skills
- Advanced knowledge of compliance reporting and/or technical accounting.
- Experience with ERP implementations or AI platforms is a plus.

Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
