We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices, verify their accuracy, and match them with purchase orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger.
- Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and distribute customer invoices.
- Monitor and track incoming payments to ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Prepare aging reports and communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding invoices.
General Duties:
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address financial inquiries.
- Provide support during audits and prepare required documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2 years in accounts payable and/or receivable roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
