We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a growing team in Greenville, SC! As an Accounting Specialist, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting duties including data entry, account reconciliation, and handling multiple vendors.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process Accounts Payable (AP) - roughly 500-600 invoices per month
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and the ERP system for various accounting tasks
- Handle Form 1099 procedures and protocols
- Resolve any discrepancies that may arise in accounting processes
- Manage and process purchase orders
- Ensure vendor files are maintained and updated
- Handle communication with vendors regarding invoices, terms, etc.
- Perform accurate data entry relating to accounting duties.
- Onsite with opportunity to work hybrid schedule after proper training
- Business Casual dress
- Opportunity for growth and ability to work on special projects
- Soft skills: Strong communication skills, good work ethic, go-getter, hands-on mentality. Small team.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or field.
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations.
- Experience with handling and processing purchase orders.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation and balancing.
- Experience working with multiple vendors and managing vendor relationships.
- Capable of entering and managing vendor invoices in an organized and efficient manner.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
