We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Specialist to join our team located in Opelika, Alabama. As an Accounting Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include accounts payable, accounts receivable and addressing customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be required to oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions. Responsibilities:• Handle a high volume of Accounts Payable support, including two-way match between invoice and Purchase Orders• Assist in month-end close activities• Provide customer support by assisting with statements and answering questions about invoices• Assist with hotline support for credit card related inquiries• Utilize accounting software systems including Dynamics NAV and Excel• Work on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other accounting functions• Participate in collections activities and follow up on past due customers.• Address customer inquiries and provide support as needed• Oversee customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
