What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Robert Half?
Our client, a leading service company, is currently looking for an Accounting Specialist, with strong AP and AR experience, to join their accounting team! The Accounting Specialist will have the following daily and monthly responsibilities:
-Daily application of incoming customer payments
-Generate customer invoices for various monthly billings.
-Perform AR collection duties for customer accounts.
-Maintain vendor invoice log.
-Ensures proper documentation and accuracy of invoices/expense reports/etc.
-Code invoices to general ledger account.
-Input invoices into accounting system.
-Process A/P payments and prepare the batch for transmission to the bank.
-Purchase Order Processing
-Assist with training related to AR and AP functions as needed.
The successful Accounting Specialist will have the following background and experiences:
-High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
-2 years AP and AR experiences
-Good written and oral communication skills
-Microsoft D365 experience highly desirable
