We are offering an exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry at our location in LONG BEACH, California. The role we are seeking to fill is that of an Accounting Supervisor. The primary function of this role will be to oversee and manage various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) process to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Maintain and manage the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
- Prepare and record Journal Entries, ensuring compliance with standard accounting practices
- Oversee the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured and reported
- Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
- Supervise the Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring all invoices are paid on time and recorded accurately in the system.
- Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Ability to maintain and manage General Ledger
- Competence in preparing Journal Entries
- Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
- Experience in using NetSuite for accounting tasks
- Proficiency in Oracle software for financial management
- Experience with QuickBooks software for accounting operations
- Knowledge of SAP for efficient financial management
