Your responsibilities in this role
- Handle general accounting tasks: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
- Utilize a number of sources to create statements and reports
- Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes
- Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
- Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
- Post financial information to journals and ledgers
- Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is a must for the prospective candidate.
- The candidate must have demonstrable experience with handling Purchase Orders.
- The ability to Code Invoices accurately is required for this role.
- The potential candidate should have the ability to Verify Invoices effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a prerequisite for this role.
- The candidate must have experience in carrying out Reconciliations.
