Our client, in the mining industry, is in need for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis, however, could go temp-to-hire for the right candidate! This is in cental Tucson, and will be 100% on-site, with Fridays work-from-home (unless it falls on month-end). The ideal candidate will have experience in processing high net worth invoices, obtaining approvals, bank reconciliations, and able to adapt to a growing organization.Responsibilities:• Processing invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all account coding is correct.• Conducting bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.• Utilizing accounting software systems, to manage and document financial transactions.• Carrying out month-end close procedures to ensure all financial data is recorded and reported accurately.• Performing accrual accounting tasks to record revenues and expenses in the correct accounting periods.• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accuracy of financial data.• Handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to facilitate electronic transfers of funds.• Obtaining necessary approvals for financial transactions to ensure adherence to company policies.• Coding invoices accurately to ensure correct allocation of expenses.
