We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare industry located in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our accounts payable operations. Your primary duties will involve managing and examining invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and addressing payment inquiries. The right person for this role MUST have strong Microsoft Excel skills including V/H look ups. Responsibilities:• MUST have strong Microsoft Excel skill• Implement and organize Accounts Payable procedures and functions• Ensure the accurate and timely processing and verification of invoices• Maintain detail-oriented interactions with employees and vendors • Assist management in tracking and reporting department metrics• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and compliance alerts• Handle month-end closing of the payables• Streamline billing and collections processes• Reconcile payments of invoices in a timely manner• Oversee the General Ledger, including journal entries and reconciliation• Validate vendor invoices and approvals before processing.
