We are offering an exciting opportunity in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role revolves around managing all aspects related to administration, accounting, and more! The position is within the transport industry and involves working onsite in an office environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer credit applications linked to transportation loads and logistics projects
- Create, send, and follow up on invoices for all transactions
- Handle entry of invoices for accounts payable to process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and update customer credit records, including collections and payment posting
- Enter load details into the company system, keeping the data precise and up-to-date
- Work effectively with the ERP system to manage financial transactions
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management, including pivot tables and vlookups
- Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy
- Use QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle for various accounting and financial operations.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
- Experience with accounts payable (AP) to manage outgoing payments
- Knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) to handle incoming payments
- Familiarity with billing processes to generate and send invoices
- Strong data entry skills to input financial transactions into internal databases
- Competence in invoice processing for both payable and receivable accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with Oracle software for financial management
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for accounting activities
- Knowledge of SAP for business process management
