Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

Robert Half is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Henderson, North Carolina. The role will primarily focus on the management and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring payments are timely and accurate, and adhering to company policies. You will be working in an industry that values detail-oriented and organized individuals.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Maintaining and updating vendor information in the accounting system
• Verifying invoice details against purchase orders for price, quantity, and terms accuracy
• Preparing and submitting payment batches to the appropriate bank or payment system based on due dates and payment terms
• Communicating with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and negotiate payment terms
• Regularly reviewing and reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues
• Generating reports on accounts payable balances, outstanding invoices, and payment trends as needed
• Adhering to internal controls and tax regulations related to accounts payable.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Familiarity with Check Runs
• Ability to code invoices accurately
