We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Aurora, Ohio. This role is in the finance industry and will be based in a traditional office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices and reconciling accounts. This is a hybrid opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Handle global accounts and work with multiple companies within the organization
- Assist with the reconciliation of credit card statements and other accounts
- Utilize Sage Intacct software for various tasks, training will be provided if necessary
- Maintain minimum usage of Microsoft Excel for tasks related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with the team to handle any sales and use tax related tasks
- Oversee the coding of invoices to ensure correct allocation of costs
- Manage accounts payable communications through Outlook, including the handling of invoices
- Ensure that all customer credit records are accurate and up to date.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is necessary.
- Ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in Invoice Processing is a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
