Robert Half is currently offering a contract opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the Orlando, Florida area. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, your primary role would be to perform financial analysis and maintain accurate records of customer accounts. You will also be responsible for tax research and preparation of various tax returns, as well as handling security deposits in accordance with contract documents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis tasks including revenue fluctuation analysis, revenue trend analysis, and concession audits.
- Compile, summarize, and analyze parking revenue activity and ensure accurate recording of related transactions to the General Ledger.
- Process and manage customer credit applications with utmost accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform research on tax issues and prepare various tax returns such as sales tax, gross receipts tax, excise tax, and municipal utilities tax on a monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents in regards to security deposits.
- Coordinate efforts to renew Letter of Credit and bond continuation certificates prior to expiration.
- Perform draws on security deposits as necessary to minimize losses.
- Conduct an annual review of cash security deposits and a semiannual review of deposit compliance.
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and management
- Strong skills in Financial Analysis
- Ability to analyze and interpret revenue streams
- Familiarity with General Ledger tasks
- Experience in using Accounting Software Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
