Robert Half is working with a local construction subcontractor who is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team in Puyallup, Washington. In this role, you will handle essential financial operations, including processing payments, managing customer accounts, and ensuring accurate billing and collections within the construction/contractor industry. This is a permanent, direct-hire position that requires the ability to commute on-site to Puyallup 5 days per week.Responsibilities Include: • Process and apply payments to customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency. • Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring timely receipt of payments. • Conduct account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records. • Perform credit evaluations for prospective clients to determine appropriate payment terms. • Manage collections efforts by following up on overdue accounts and resolving payment issues. • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing discrepancies. • Generate financial reports focused on accounts receivable to support business decisions. • Analyze customer accounts to identify patterns and provide actionable insights. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all transactions. • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding payment and billing concerns.Salary and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $29-$32/hour, eligible for OT.
