We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our manufacturing facility located in Auburn, Maine. In this role, you will be tasked with the critical function of managing customer accounts, processing applications, and ensuring the accuracy of our records.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner
- Oversee and maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit
- Resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts and our services
- Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary
- Manage the billing process, ensuring all charges are correct and sent out on time
- Handle account reconciliation tasks, comparing internal financial records against monthly statements to identify any discrepancies
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to compile, analyze, and present data
- Implement mail merge techniques to streamline the communication process with customers
- Deal with commercial collections, ensuring all payments are received and processed correctly.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for this role as it involves keeping track of payments and ensuring our records are accurate.
- Must have a solid understanding and experience of Accounts Receivable (AR), as the role involves managing and overseeing all AR-related activities.
- Responsible for Billing tasks; must be capable of preparing and issuing invoices, and handling related queries.
- Previous experience in Commercial Collections is required as the role involves managing overdue payments from commercial clients.
- Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, as it is extensively used for data management and analysis in this role.
- Familiarity with Mail Merge is a plus, as it is often used for mass communication with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word is essential, as it will be used for creating and editing documents.
