We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Manufacturing industry, based in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving any inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions to assure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Adhere to company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance when processing customer deductions and credit memos after obtaining the necessary approvals.
- Regularly review account aging reports to identify and address problem accounts.
- Provide updates on the status of assigned accounts to management.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Finance department.
- Use accounting software knowledge to manage Accounts Receivable.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
- Apply cash applications knowledge in managing customer payments.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Receivable - Aging
- Demonstrated ability in Collections - Commercial
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with other Office applications
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience
- Experience with cash applications is necessary
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy are critical
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures is a must
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
