We seeking an Accounts Receivable Director to lead our client's Credit, Collections, and AR operations! This role is focused on providing strategic direction, overseeing daily activities, and ensuring strong processes are in place to meet cash receipt goals, maximize customer service, and mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Head Credit, Cash, and Collections teams, ensuring DSO targets and credit extension risk are managed.
- Assess team structure and align it with business needs.
- Train and supervise credit and collections staff for productivity and compliance with best practices.
- Develop and monitor KPI dashboards for domestic and offshore teams and ensure accurate GL reconciliations.
- Create procedures to optimize service levels and improve collections processes.
- Maintain strong controls to safeguard against bad debt and defaults.
- Analyze payment trends, metrics, and departmental performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead month-end close processes for AR and support year-end audits.
- Ensure confidentiality and security for financial files.
