Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team in the western suburbs. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer accounts, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate records. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.Responsibilities:• Manage accounts receivable aging reports• Conduct cash application and cash collections• Deductions research and management• Perform duties to complete month-end and year-end reporting requirements• Retrieve customer remittance advises from various sources• Apply cash payments to customer accounts• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices and payments• Monitor overdue accounts on the weekly Aging Report• Document and track collection efforts• Investigate and resolve customer credit activity in line with Customer Rebate programs• Communicate the state of customer accounts to the management and sales team• Perform month-end closing reconciliations, create PBC schedules for Year-End AuditThis position offers a salary range of $50,000-$60,000 and comes with a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k with a match, paid time off, holiday pay, STD/LTD/Life Insurance.
