This role is integral to ensuring the seamless functionality of critical transportation and warehouse management systems while supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Be the go-to expert for business applications, providing support for off-the-shelf and custom-built systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on Microsoft Dynamics 2019.
- Manage and implement EDI transactions (X.12, 856, 944, 940, 945, 204, 210) and troubleshoot custom-built processes.
- Generate management reports, perform data analysis, and ensure data quality using SQL and related tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and drive operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support via a ticketing system, assist with system updates, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Develop and maintain support documentation, monitor production systems, and administer mobility devices.
What You Bring:
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Development Stack (C#, ASP.NET/Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server) and EDI transaction sets.
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Power Automate, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and resolve problems efficiently.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills to support internal users and external customers effectively.
- At least 4 years of IT experience supporting end users, data processes, custom software, and backend systems.
- Preferred: Experience in the warehousing and logistics sector and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
