The ideal Assistant Controller/Sr Accountant for this role must have knowledge of GAAP, current industry trends, and excellent auditing skills.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the integration of acquisitions into our accounting systems.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities for the team.
- Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Create annual budgets and provide variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Perform audits to verify the accuracy of our financial data and processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and oversee accounting functions.
- Forecast expenses to support budgeting and financial planning.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations.
- Stay informed about current industry trends and apply this knowledge to our financial practices.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Demonstrated experience with Process Improvement Initiatives
- Experience in managing Process Improvement Projects
- Ability to implement new processes
- Knowledge of Internal Control Review
