We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director - Procure to Pay located in Frisco, Texas. This role involves leading and mentoring a team, overseeing the entire procure-to-pay cycle, and establishing strong relationships with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire procure-to-pay cycle, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency.
- Implement and refine the P2P strategy for continuous process optimization.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors, ensuring mutual benefit and cooperation.
- Guide and mentor the procurement / accounts payable team, fostering growth and performance.
- Ensure all operations are in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Supervise the enhancement of procurement systems for increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategies with overall company objectives.
- Generate reports on procurement performance metrics to provide visibility for key stakeholders and identify performance gaps.
- Develop and enhance training programs for the organization regarding the P2P process.
- Evaluate and mitigate financial risks related to procurement and vendor contracts.
- Bachelors degree is required
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Procure to Pay role.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use Accounting Software Systems.
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is mandatory.
- Proficiency in using Concur for expense management.
- Strong skills in Data Processing are required.
- Competence in executing all Accounting Functions.
- Extensive experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP).
- Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is essential.
- Experience in Auditing is required.
- Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is needed.
