We are offering an opportunity for an Associate II, Logistics to become a part of our team in Miami, Florida. Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
- Monitor in-transit shipments to ensure timely delivery and communicate any delays proactively.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather required documentation and track claim status.
- Assist with tracking and resolving quality tickets to ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Conduct detailed investigations on reported losses, focusing on specific product losses.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating trailer audits to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Help generate routine and ad hoc reports to support initiatives.
- Assist with ongoing projects, data collection, and process improvements related to security and compliance.
- Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating the ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Strong Documentation skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Experience in Reporting, capable of creating detailed and concise reports.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and use advanced functions.
- Familiarity with Operations within a logistics environment, understanding processes and workflow.
- Knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards in the logistics industry.
- Research skills, capable of sourcing, analyzing, and presenting data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating, editing, and formatting documents.
- Commitment to Quality, ensuring all work meets or exceeds set standards.
- Ability to Review and evaluate operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience in Scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing logistics operations.
- Familiarity with Audit procedures and practices, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for efficient email communication and schedule management.
- Experience in Supervising, with the ability to lead and manage a team.
- Knowledge of the time management software 'About Time' is an asset.
- Familiarity with Auditing processes, ensuring compliance and identifying areas of improvement.
- Basic Internet skills, including research and communication.
- Demonstrable Leadership Skills, including the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team.
- Understands Logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Experience with Shipping Functions, including packaging, labeling, and dispatching goods.
- Knowledge of Security protocols and procedures in a logistics setting.
- Experience in Claim Administration, handling and resolving shipment claims effectively.
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in Staffing, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
