We are accepting applications for the role of AV Technician. Located in NEW YORK, New York, the individual in this role will be responsible for managing and improving the audio and video quality during Zoom meetings, troubleshooting relevant technical issues, and staying informed about the latest advancements in conferencing technologies. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the technical aspects of Zoom meetings, including audio and video quality
Address technical issues related to Logitech and Polycom video conferencing equipment
Perform basic troubleshooting of issues associated with Active Directory and Office 365
Ensure the proper functioning of equipment before scheduled meetings or conferences
Work with other technical team members and stakeholders to solve complex technical problems
Keep up with new developments in audio and video conferencing technology to ensure quick adaptation to changes and updates
Occasionally, handle the audio video conferencing aspects for presenters or act as the lead presenter during presentations.
Requirements
At least one year of experience as an AV Technician or in a similar role is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in using and troubleshooting computer hardware is necessary.
Familiarity with Active Directory is a must.
Experience with Zoom and other video conferencing tools is required.
Proficiency in Office 365 is essential.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently is needed.
Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues in a non-technical manner are required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on one's feet are crucial.
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest AV technology trends is required.
