Job Title : Zoom Audio Video Support Specialist Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and technologically adept Zoom Audio Video Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of Zoom meetings by managing all technical aspects related to audio and video quality, breakout rooms, etc Candidates should possess some troubleshooting skills in in Active Directory and Office 365. Responsibilities :

  • Provide efficient and seamless Zoom support to our team and clients, dealing with audio and video related issues, and ensuring optimum performance during meetings and conferences.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to Logitech and Polycom video conferencing equipment and enable breakout features for separate room functions, admin functions for meetings, etc
  • Carry out basic troubleshooting in case of issues with Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Ensure that equipment is functioning properly before scheduled meetings or conferences.
  • Coordinate with other technical team members and stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Keep abreast of new advancements in audio and video conferencing technology to ensure the organization is able to adapt quickly to changes and updates.
  • Occasionally, may need to run the audio video conferencing aspects for presenters or even act as the lead presenter of others’ presentations. Requirements :
  • Proven experience in an IT support role supporting Zoom audio and video conference solutions.
  • Good technical understanding and operational knowledge of Logitech and Polycom video conferencing equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience with Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).

This role is onsite Monday through Thursday with occasional (quarterly) Sunday support, travel and conference support. Requirements : Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with high-profile executives. Comprehensive knowledge of Zoom technology, including managing views (speaker view, gallery view, side-by-side), spotlighting participants, handling waiting rooms, managing breakout rooms, start recordings, transcribing meetings, making participants co-hosts, muting participants, and other Zoom features. Proficient in setting up Zoom meeting and webinar links, including assigning participants to meetings. Have some production skills is a plus so that they can efficiently run successful Zoom Meetings with managing the workflow of presentations and / or spotlighting speakers on the fly etc. Ability to work under pressure, thinking quickly to troubleshoot and resolve any Zoom issues on the fly such as video or audio quality problems. Must possess excellent IT skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to the evolving demands of IT tasks and requests. Should be able to efficiently prioritize and adjust workload as needed in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of networking to troubleshoot A / V (Zoom), LAN connection issues and resolve laptop Wi-Fi problems preventing network or internet access. Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and providing support for Microsoft Teams and OneDrive to ensure seamless functionality and user accessibility. Experience with Office 365 – to assist with Email support and troubleshooting. Experience in installing software and troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, with a focus on company-wide laptops and home setups. Proficient in setting up and supporting Apple mobile devices, including smartphones, with a focus on installing, reinstalling, and troubleshooting the Outlook and Teams apps, as well as configuring MFA authentication methods. Strong writing skills to create documentation for AV needs, conference room usage, and other non-AV IT requirements as needed. Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn new skillsets, contributing to the IT team’s efforts in implementing Autopilot and utilizing Microsoft Intune to streamline the next laptop rollout as part of a group initiative. Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Identity, with a plus for familiarity with Apple computers, as we have a blend of MacBook Pro laptops throughout the organization. Familiarity with the Okta platform is a plus; the organization uses this platform for secure authentication for applications. Familiarity with the Jira Helpdesk ticketing platform is a plus, as it is used to track and manage IT support tickets for employees.
