We are actively seeking a Call Center Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team located in Columbia, South Carolina. This role provides essential services to our beneficiaries. This role is an in-person opportunity offering a contract to permanent employment.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver high-quality customer service in a call center environment
- Use our internal system, Thrive Hub, to assist beneficiaries with their applications for benefits
- Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Apply detail-oriented thinking skills to navigate and work through the benefits application process
- Maintain an organized and meticulous work ethic to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Oversee and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks by answering a multi-line phone system
- Uphold a detail-oriented demeanor, adhering to our business casual dress code
- FLUENT in Spanish and English!
- Able to type 40 WPM
- Proven experience in a call center or a similar customer service role
- Proficiency in using call center software and technology
- Demonstrated ability in managing multi-line phone systems
- Excellent customer service skills, with a client-oriented attitude
- Strong understanding of the non-profit industry and its unique challenges
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations
- Patience and empathy when dealing with clients' needs and complaints
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related field will be a plus.
