We are actively seeking a Call Center Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team located in Columbia, South Carolina. This role provides essential services to our beneficiaries. This role is an in-person opportunity offering a contract to permanent employment.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-quality customer service in a call center environment
  • Use our internal system, Thrive Hub, to assist beneficiaries with their applications for benefits
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Apply detail-oriented thinking skills to navigate and work through the benefits application process
  • Maintain an organized and meticulous work ethic to ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Oversee and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks by answering a multi-line phone system
  • Uphold a detail-oriented demeanor, adhering to our business casual dress code
  • FLUENT in Spanish and English!
  • Able to type 40 WPM
  • Proven experience in a call center or a similar customer service role
  • Proficiency in using call center software and technology
  • Demonstrated ability in managing multi-line phone systems
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a client-oriented attitude
  • Strong understanding of the non-profit industry and its unique challenges
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with clients' needs and complaints
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related field will be a plus.
