We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the Plastics Manufacturing industry located in OAK BROOK, Illinois, United States. This role involves duties related to the Bookkeeper position, where the focus will be on managing daily transactions and ensuring financial precision, without the need to handle payroll or month-end procedures.Responsibilities • Oversee bank activity and lockbox accounts to monitor incoming cash flow.• Handle customer freight cost billing tasks, ensuring the accuracy of all transportation-related invoices.• Complete journal entries as and when required, though the volume is expected to be limited.• Manage the processing of vendor payments promptly, with a daily average of approximately 15 payments, primarily through ACH/wires.• Ensure the correct documentation, approval, and reconciliation of outgoing payments.• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.• Accurately post cash receipts in a timely manner.• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite to perform tasks efficiently.
