We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. This position is based in Scarborough, Maine.Responsibilities:• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in alignment with company policies.• Reconcile accounts and bank statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including timely invoice management.• Conduct data entry tasks to ensure financial records are up-to-date and organized.• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial data effectively.• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy.
