What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Robert Half?
We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in Shakopee, Minnesota. You will be in charge of maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Your role will involve working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.Responsibilities:• Implementation and maintenance of accounting procedures through QuickBooks• Responsible for accounts payable, including three-way match, bill entry, and vendor payment• Handling accounts receivable: invoicing, payment processing, and discrepancy resolution• Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements• Preparing journal entries, recurring entries, and accruals• Overseeing fixed assets and maintaining accurate records• Analyzing and preparing financial statements• Performing HR duties such as new employee on-boarding, benefits management, and bi-weekly payroll processing• Reporting employee hours to associated agencies• Collaborating with the purchasing team to maintain accurate inventory• Generating ad hoc reports as requested by management• Providing office support, including phone answering, mail processing, and supply ordering.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
