We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in our Farmington, Connecticut location. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits, maintaining accurate financial records, and communicating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Manage employee benefits for dental residents
• Enter invoices with precision and timeliness
• Write weekly checks for various programs
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with highly skilled physicians
• Ensure compliance with Connecticut paid leave and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) laws
• Utilize various software tools such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for daily tasks
• Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conduct month-end close operations
• Oversee payroll functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Perform data entry tasks as needed.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Strong Bookkeeping skills
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Ability to handle Payroll tasks
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
