We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team located in Swampscott, Massachusetts. The primary role of the Bookkeeper will be to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role also includes responsibilities such as data entry, month-end close, and account reconciliation. This offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Handle all aspects of bookkeeping duties • Work closely with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Perform bank reconciliations regularly• Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing• Utilize QuickBooks for recording transactions and financial record-keeping• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure precise records• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer credit records• Perform data entry tasks as needed• Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting• Take responsibility for month-end close procedures.
