Robert Half is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our client's team in South Jersey. In this Bookkeeper role, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations. This Bookkeeper role is critical in ensuring the smooth financial operations within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain our financial records and data entry tasks
- Oversee the process of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Effectively manage the month-end close processes
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting
- Ensure proficiency in using Peachtree Sage for various accounting tasks.
- Handle booking of monthly rentals and manage general ledger
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax reports
- Generate and maintain depreciation reports
The ideal Bookkeeper candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration
Other requirements for the Bookkeeper position include and are not limited to:
- 3 years of experience
- Peachtree experience required
- Experience with Inhouse payroll preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
