We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) or Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a solid background in data-driven systems and processes integrations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data and be comfortable in an Agile work environment. The job requires hands-on experience with data mapping, writing data queries, and proficiency in SQL/ETL/API. Familiarity with ERP is a plus point.
In the capacity of a Business Analyst, you will be tasked with understanding, organizing, prioritizing and gauging work for the development team in line with the company's requirements. This involves analysis, requirements gathering, design, interaction with end users, criteria definition for acceptance, facilitation, and release of products on third-party vendor solutions, integrations, and existing apps.
As a liaison between business stakeholders, IT staff, and offshore IT contractors, the Business Analyst is vital to the operations and improvements of our systems and apps. The successful candidate will partake and assist in cross-functional teams on all levels of the development lifecycle. Projects will include software applications, workflows, data flows, mockups, and systems.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with and documenting third-party application requirements.
- Meeting internal stakeholders to understand current business processes and clearly define problem statements to provide business context for the development team.
- Driving project types including third-party software implementation, integrations, and hardware/software solutions.
- Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing backlog items based on overall strategy and business objectives.
Skills/Experience Required include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of business systems analysis experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and SQL.
- Previous Scrum Experience preferred.
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
- Project Management skills are valuable.
- Familiarity with MS operating systems and applications.
