We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Draper, Utah. The role primarily focuses on creating Visio process flows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to assist the IT organization in preparing for ISO9001 certification. The successful applicant will work with cross-functional teams to document IT processes and suggest improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Visio process flows for a variety of IT processes to ensure clarity and precision
- Create comprehensive SOPs that are in line with the requirements of ISO9001 certification
- Work cohesively with cross-functional teams to gather and document process information
- Regular maintenance and updating of all process documentation
- Conduct an analysis of the processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and suggest solutions
- Develop and provide training to IT staff on newly established processes and procedures
- Document incident management, change management, and service request management processes
- Capture the steps for maintaining information about configuration items needed to deliver IT services
- Documenting the procedure for handling service requests from initiation to completion
- Capture the process for identifying, analyzing, and resolving underlying issues causing incidents
- Outlining the process for requesting, assessing, approving, and implementing changes to IT systems.
- Holding a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visio for process mapping and diagramming.
- Familiarity with ITIL Processes and their application in a business environment.
- Experience with ITSM, including understanding its principles and how to apply them in a business context.
