We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are searching for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who is proficient in processing and analyzing data, developing reporting solutions, and optimizing data integration.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to translate business requirements into metrics reporting for operations, finance, and project teams.
- Engage with finance, operations, and project teams to comprehend the reporting needs and functional requirements across diverse processes.
- Design and develop sophisticated, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights into financial performance, operational efficiency, and project health.
- Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure the correct sourcing, validation, and transformation of data from internal systems into meaningful reporting solutions.
- Utilize advanced system knowledge and critical thinking to identify gaps and devise innovative solutions for data integration and reporting optimization.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users, ensuring reporting outputs align with expectations and securing buy-in on deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, improve data accuracy and consistency, and provide actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Use BusinessObjects Technologies, Data Visualization, Maps API, AB Testing, Ad Hoc Reporting, Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server for various tasks as required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst role or a similar position within the construction / contractor industry
- Proven expertise in BusinessObjects Technologies
- Solid experience in Data Visualization
- Proficiency in using Maps API
- Strong knowledge in conducting AB Testing
- Demonstrated ability in Ad Hoc Reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI)
- Hands-on experience with Power BI
- Proficient in using Microsoft SQL Server
