Description
We are seeking a Business Systems (Procurement liaison) Analyst to join our team in MASON, Michigan. This role lies within the manufacturing industry and will involve a deep understanding of both procurement and business system analysis. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our procurement team and the rest of the business, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and improve procurement functions using CRM and other business systems
Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance business operations
Maintain accurate records and manage procurement-related documentation using Microsoft Office Suites
Conduct AB testing and gap analysis to improve procurement processes and systems
Collaborate with the procurement team to understand their needs and translate them into business requirement documents
Utilize SAP and P2P systems to streamline procurement operations
Assist in the preparation for CPSM certification, ensuring all procurement activities align with CPSM standards
Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking
Monitor procurement processes and take appropriate action in case of discrepancies
Ensure effective communication between the procurement team and other departments.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in CRM systems to efficiently manage customer relationships and interactions
Demonstrated experience in creating Business Requirement Documents to clearly convey system requirements and expectations
Extensive knowledge of procurement procedures and best practices to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services
Experience in managing procurement functions, including purchasing, supply chain, and vendor management
Ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business goals
Familiarity with P2P (Procure to Pay) systems to streamline the procurement process
Proficiency in SAP software to manage business operations and customer relations
Competence in using Microsoft Office Suites for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
CPSM (Certified Detail Oriented in Supply Management) certification is preferred
Proven ability to manage procurement projects and work within a manufacturing environment.
