As a Buyer, your primary function will be to manage purchasing activities efficiently, negotiate pricing, and ensure the availability of materials. You will also be required to handle a significant volume of emails and work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage buying processes to ensure smooth operations
• Submit purchase orders in a timely and organized manner
• Maintain open lines of communication for pricing inquiries and availability
• Handle a high volume of emails and ensure all queries are addressed promptly
• Run reports to track delayed shipments and take necessary actions
• Assist with logistics for parts to ensure their timely delivery
• Use your skills in Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) to optimize purchasing activities
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Operate under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Uphold the accuracy of purchasing materials records.
• Proven experience as a Buyer with a minimum of 2 years in the industry• Proficient in Buying Processes to ensure smooth transactions
• Experience in handling Purchase Orders effectively
• Capable of managing Purchasing Activities in a timely and efficient manner
• Skilled in Purchasing Materials to meet company's operational needs
• Excellent ability to Negotiate Pricing to secure advantageous terms
• Must be Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) for optimal operation management
