We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Oil & Gas Services industry for a Buyer to join our team in Chesterfield, Virginia. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including developing systems for monitoring purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring all orders are accurate.
Responsibilities:
Developing an efficient system for tracking purchase orders
Producing a comprehensive weekly report of purchase orders for the management team, highlighting all closed orders
Collaborating with the management team to confirm that all deliveries meet the assigned orders and promptly reporting any back ordered or missing products
Assisting with inventory management and material levels on a regular basis
Communicating effectively with the management team to confirm the accuracy of all orders
Utilizing skills in platforms and software such as 3M, Dcs, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, IBM AS/400, and About Time for various tasks
Providing top-notch customer service and maintaining open lines of communication
Forecasting and KPI Reporting to aid in strategic decision making. Applicant must have proficiency in 3M software
Familiarity with DCS (Distributed Control System) is required
Must have experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
Knowledge of various ERP solutions is necessary
Proficiency in IBM AS/400 is a must
Experience with About Time software is preferred
Excellent communication skills are required
Must possess strong customer service abilities
Should have expertise in forecasting and market analysis
Knowledge of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting is essential
