We are in search of a Buyer to enhance our team situated in DECATUR, Alabama. This role operates within the Environmental industry and involves the execution of buying processes and the use of accounting software systems. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment.
Responsibilities :
- Execute buying processes, focusing on creating Purchase Orders (POs)
- Utilize accounting software systems, primarily NetSuite and Coupa, for procurement tasks
- Handle requisitions received via Excel and input them into NetSuite, no vendor contact required
- Work with a list of items provided for procurement, adhering to clear directions
- Engage in heavy data entry tasks to maintain accurate records
- No negotiation of pricing required, though occasional price lookup might be necessary
- Experience with lab buying would be beneficial, though not necessary
- Operate mostly independently, though collaboration with a small team will be necessary at times
- Adhere to budget processes and accounting functions within the role
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
- Experience with ERP Solutions
- Knowledge of About Time software
- Ability to perform Accounting Functions
- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
- Understanding of Budget Processes
- Experience with Buying Processes
- Proficiency in using NetSuite software is preferred
- Experience with Coupa software is a plus
