We are looking for a skilled Cable Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to low-voltage cabling and server infrastructure, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position requires extensive travel, which will be fully reimbursed, and offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including data center setups and office remodels.Responsibilities:• Install and maintain low-voltage cabling, including CAT5 and CAT6, for data and communication systems.• Perform rack and stack server installations and ensure proper connectivity to network nodes.• Handle cabling tasks at high elevations using ladders or lifts, adhering to all safety protocols.• Set up and configure communication rooms, including fiber connections and switch installations.• Troubleshoot and repair cabling and server infrastructure issues as they arise.• Install and maintain video surveillance systems and access control equipment.• Collaborate on the construction and remodeling of data centers and office spaces to meet client specifications.• Travel extensively to various job sites, with all travel expenses covered by the client.
