Position Summary : The Case Manager will handle all pre-litigation functions with an emphasis on heavy client communication and relationship management. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in personal injury or workers' compensation cases. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, as is a proven ability to connect with diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all pre-litigation case activities, including investigation, documentation, and coordination of necessary records (e.g., medical records, accident reports, etc.).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent updates and empathetic guidance throughout the pre-litigation process.
- Assist attorneys in preparing case files for litigation if pre-litigation resolution is not achieved.
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other key stakeholders to ensure timely case progress.
- Maintain detailed records and case notes in legal management software, ensuring compliance with firm standards and deadlines.
- Regularly communicate with clients in English (and Spanish, if applicable) to address questions, concerns, and case updates.
- Support attorneys by handling administrative duties, such as drafting correspondence and organizing case files.
