We are in search of a Case Manager to join our team located in Carson City, Nevada. As a Case Manager, you will be involved in the assessment of the needs of individuals and their pets, determine their eligibility for veterinary care, document all case data, and coordinate with veterinary offices. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in a field that requires a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities :
- Interact with individuals via phone to understand their needs for veterinary care
- Determine the eligibility of individuals for the services provided
- Document all case details in the Access database
- Coordinate with veterinary offices and establish new partnerships through cold calls
- Maintain updated records including photos of pets and other relevant data in the proper location
- Communicate the company's emergency policy and procedures effectively
- Keep the message portal updated with names and notes, ensuring all calls are attended to
- Review and follow up on cases regularly
- Use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access for daily tasks
- Utilize QuickBooks for relevant tasks.
- Must hold a minimum of 3 years experience in a case manager role.
- Capable of answering inbound calls promptly and professionally.
- Proficient in obtaining necessary authorizations for case management.
- Demonstrated expertise in administrative office tasks and procedures.
- Ability to provide superior customer service in all interactions.
- Experienced in handling inbound telephone calls and managing phone coverage.
- Must possess excellent phone etiquette.
- Skilled in conducting phone screens for case evaluations.
