Description

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Claims Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Grand Rapids NT, Michigan. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured and repetitive work environment. The role involves accurately entering medical, dental, and vision claims into our system, where precision is critical to ensure proper claim processing.

Responsibilities

• Input medical, dental, and vision claims into the claims processing system with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies while handling sensitive information.
• Undergo comprehensive training to gain proficiency in claims processing, ensuring a 99% accuracy rate before completing the audit phase.
• Collaborate with the team and leverage guidance from experienced colleagues to enhance claim entry skills.
• Meet productivity benchmarks by accurately processing up to 60 claims per day after completing training.
• Identify and correct errors during the batch review process to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Adapt to learning more complex claim types over time, expanding knowledge and capabilities within the department.
• Utilize organizational tools to manage workload effectively in a quiet and focused work environment.
• Complete online video training modules and assessments to stay updated on company procedures.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy, including a minimum of 13,000 keystrokes per hour.
• Ability to work in a repetitive, detail-oriented role requiring sustained focus and precision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills for managing files, email correspondence, and scanning documents.
• Capacity to perform basic calculations and ensure accuracy in claim entries.
• Willingness to work independently and adapt to a quiet team environment.
• Commitment to learning and improving through feedback during the training process.
