We are offering a contract for a Cloud Engineer position in our non-profit organization based in New York. The Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading the design, implementation, and optimization of our IT infrastructure. This includes driving cloud adoption, managing cross-platform migrations, and ensuring a secure, scalable, and efficient technology environment.Responsibilities: • Lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's Azure infrastructure.• Supervise the Microsoft 365 environment, including Office 365, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Intune, and Endpoint Protection.• Guarantee optimal performance, availability, and scalability of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.• Plan and administer migrations between on-premises and cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.• Manage Windows Server environments in compliance with security best practices.• Implement and maintain endpoint protection and device management policies using Intune and related tools.• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security, optimizing where necessary.• Utilize tools such as Power Automate to streamline and automate workflows.• Identify opportunities to enhance infrastructure efficiency and implement innovative solutions.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand organizational needs and deliver tailored technology solutions.• Provide guidance, training, and support to internal teams on IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
