Responsibilities include designing secure network architectures, applying advanced security measures, and managing security policies on firewalls and intrusion detection systems. The engineer also administers continuous vulnerability management using Qualys WAS. Proficiency in AWS, Azure, Cloudflare’s WAF, and DDoS protection are essential.
