Salary: $25.65 to $29.70 hourly

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in NORTHVILLE, Michigan. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing and executing collection operations and processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer contacts and liaise with the sales team
• Conduct collection operations, including making collection calls and sending emails
• Prepare cash applications and post payments
• Utilize JDE software for various tasks (experience preferred)
• Prepare chargebacks and credit memos
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Post A/R to the general ledger
• Prepare aging reports and customer statements
• Work on-site at our NORTHVILLE, Michigan location.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Billing Collection processes and techniques
• Strong ability to manage Cash Collections efficiently
• Solid understanding of Collection Operations, preferably within a similar industry
• Familiarity with Collection Processes, with an ability to implement and streamline them
• Experience in Collections within a Consumer-oriented environment
• Knowledge of managing Aging Accounts and ensuring their timely resolution
• Ability to create, analyze and interpret Aging Reports effectively
• Skilled in Cash Applications, with an aptitude for accurate financial data entry
