Wealth Management company in the Hartford COUNTY AREA looking for a Communications/Marketing Manager to join their team and eventually grow out their marketing team.
Salary: 70-90k 20% bonus (depending on experience)
Location: Hartford COUNTY area (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Must Haves:
- 2-3 years of Marketing/Communications
- Attention to detail, confident and able to communicate with high level people, clients
- Financial services/wealth management – insurance or highly regulated industry, law office, etc. industry experience (must also have an interest in personal finance)
- Strong Writer – candidates should be able to produce writing sample/portfolio for submittal
- Content updates to web (able to update web pages) Social Media content (post and track)
- Event planning
- Google analytics – understanding
- Software: Canva, Google Analytics, Brevo (or other email marketing software/CRM)

Objectives of this role
- Implementing and helping to develop comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives and deliver exceptional experience to clients at all touchpoints.
- Managing internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging and brand image.
- Creating, editing, and distributing engaging content across various platforms, including newsletters, social media, and the company website.
- Collaborating with different departments to gather information and ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Planning and executing events to promote the firm within the community and to deliver extraordinary experience for clients.
- Creating special touchpoints to create raving fan clients.
- Leading the firm’s Culture Committee and holding engaging events for firm employees.
Your tasks may include
- Work with team to write, edit, proofread and distribute communication materials, including letters, website updates, articles, blog posts and social media content.
- Manage and client events and employee / Culture Committee events.
- Manage physical collateral.
- Manage the company’s social media presence, including content creation, posting and engagement.
- Prepare internal communications, including memos, newsletters and presentations for employees and stakeholders.
- Create create visually appealing and effective external communication materials. While it is important that materials be visually appealing, design is not a highlight
- Create and organize additional touchpoints, communications and tools to help service teams deliver exceptional client experience.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
