Compliance Analyst

The opening for Compliance Analyst at Rock-it Cargo will help support the company’s compliance team. This department performs all due diligence for clients and vendors to ensure the company is compliant with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, as well as its own corporate policies. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex issues, and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. As a full-time Compliance Analyst you will work from our Los Angeles (90045) office during a probational training period after which you will be able to switch to a hybrid schedule. You will be primarily assisting the Compliance, Risk Management, and Legal teams, as well as other organizational functions as required. As a team member, the ideal candidate will have a great opportunity to learn about regulatory and corporate compliance with room to grow within the company. We are looking to welcome someone with a bright and quick disposition to the Rock-it Cargo team. Responsibilities: ·      Analyze vendor network database in order for Compliance team to effectively monitor and maintain approved vendors·      Analyze insurance limits, business/job volume, capabilities, service failures etc. for existing vendors to negotiate insurance limit increases with major vendors, delete nonessential/higher-risk vendors, and ultimately streamline/strengthen vendor network·      Perform data entry assignments to ensure complete and accurate data is readily available for all entities in our cargo database·      Assist with processing onboarding documentation and account setup for new customers·      Assist with processing cargo insurance requests·      Provide backup support for the rest of the Compliance team with vendor management, insurance management, TSA/CTPAT regulatory compliance, ESG etc. as needed
