What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Robert Half?
The Financial Controller will oversee a growing team while remaining hands on with the General Ledger and Monthly close process. The Financial Controller will need to have a proven track record of helping to develop junior level staff. Previous experience within the consumer goods industry is desired as is some level of audit experience.
This position will require a strong background with inventory management and reporting, preferably within a distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the monthly close and reporting processes
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors
- Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Consumer Goods / ECommerce is desired
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Salary : $145,000 - $175,000
